Microsoft Corporation Program Manager 2 in Redmond, Washington

Azure is vast, complex and evolving every release. Many dozens of feature teams across Azure need to keep hundreds of internal customer teams up to date on myriad new features and plans, get internal customer input and feedback, and find early adopters. These customers are engineering teams across Microsoft, and they need to know what Azure offers today, what’s coming and how build and develop their own highly efficient services. Today we bridge this many-to-many space at scale with self-serve documentation ( and http://azurewiki ), conferences and technical talks (http://cloudoptiomal ), email and personal outreach. CloudOptimal is Microsoft-internal technical evangelism for Azure.


If you’re the ideal candidate for this role you bring: • Technical evangelism experience • Broad knowledge of and experience using Azure • Deep data analytical skills using Kusto, Excel, etc. • Automation mindset to scale across a large internal customer base • Ability to deep dive into scenarios and have strong technical conversations with engineers at various levels • Strong written communication skills, for mass audiences • Strong organizational skills to keep track of many experts within Azure and many internal customers across Microsoft • Ability to engage and have effective interactions with external customers • BS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
