To help partners succeed, Partner Experiences team offers partners a platform and experience (UX and APIs) upon which to build their business. The Commerce and Ecosystem division (C+E) in the Cloud & AI group powers commerce for Microsoft’s key businesses like Azure, Office 365. We are hiring a PM to help us deliver services and experiences for empowering Microsoft’s developer and partner ecosystem to be successful. In this position, you will work across organizational boundaries to drive a good partner experience. You will identify the biggest pain points for Partners and work with teams to identify the fixes needed to improve Partner Satisfaction, and decrease Customer Pain Time and Incidents per day. The ideal candidate has experience both with building platforms and customer/partner facing APIs and/or user experiences.
We are searching for an PM to manage and drive a set of Key Results. This will involve the following:
Work closely with across engineering, business, and operations teams to drive alignment and deliver optimal experiences for partners
Mange partner engagements
Use data to ensure we are doing the right things for our partners
Listen to, understand, and evangelize partner user cases and scenarios
Drive and deliver executive reviews
Propose new features, key results, and experiences for partners
10+ years managing/shipping software or technology related products
Experience managing projects with client software and back end services
Outstanding cross-group collaboration skills and proven ability to partner across organizations
Excellent communication skills with an ability to tailor messaging up and down the management chain as well as prepare external ready communications
Strong technical leader
Excellent business and technical judgment
Ability to develop Key Results
A passion for deeply understanding partner needs, and enabling the business
BS or higher degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
Strong track record of delivering services and/or shipping products
Real-world experience with APIs is a plus
