Microsoft Corporation Principal Software Engineer in Redmond, Washington

Azure is the fastest-growing business in Microsoft's history and is the foundation of Microsoft's mobile-first, cloud-first vision. Customer Growth and Analytics (CGA) group plays a fundamental role in the strategy to growth our Microsoft business. We are the data engineering team in Azure and our responsibility is to provide timely and highly trusted data for the organization to make critical business decisions.

Responsibilities for this role includes:

Architect and develop big data system to process large-scale data

Collaborate across multiple functional teams to help build a shared perspective on our data strategy and priorities

Pro-actively identify and explore on new opportunities

Identify, design and implement improvements to optimize data delivery at scale


Preferred Qualifications:

Candidate should have at least 8+ years of experience in leading software architecture works, with experience in building large scale data system

A passion for providing the best experience to Azure customers

Comfortable with working on ambiguous business questions

Strong cross functional leadership, collaboration, influencing skills

Ability to work independently, as part of a team, or in collaboration with large product groups
