We're looking for a principal program manager to join our team to help us identify some of the next set of business and product opportunities to grow and delight our customers.
The software development landscape is complex and crowded, so identifying new and unique customer problems and business opportunities is not easy. It will require a deep understanding of the software development business from IDEs and editors to developer services, a willingness to do a tremendous amount of customer development, and a good grounding in business and how to take an opportunity from zero to one.
The ideal candidate will have recent experience as a software developer using modern software development techniques to help create connection with our customer base, as well as experience in product design, early-stage product creation, and good customer development skills. More than that, they'll be skilled at applying a growth mindset to thinking about how we might grow our business, and patience to work through and discard hypotheses to find the best one.
- 10+ years in software development and product design
Experience working in early-stage technology startups
Experience using lean startup techniques to bring product to market
Recent experience developing with Visual Studio Code
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
