Helping partners to more rapidly build and deploy business applications that are specific to an industries’ needs while leveraging data across an organization in a common way is the focus for this Program Manager role on our Industry Engineering team within the Business Applications Group.
The Business Applications Industry Engineering Team is looking for a strong, motivated, independent, and energetic technical program manager to drive industry specific programs, complex program requirements, cross-company and cross-team communication and execution accountability across technical and business needs.
This role requires deep subject matter expertise of a key industry area, understanding of the industry business issues and needs and working closely with Microsoft partners to deliver execution of the program.
The role will work closely with the WW industry teams, One Commercial Partner and across Microsoft product groups.
Program manage industry program end to end including strategy, priorities, program components, roadmap and content.
Work with Microsoft partners to build out the industry solution, most impactful customer scenarios and to identify industry leading partners for recruitment.
Own deliverables, with clear prioritization and urgency to ship. Keep release schedules focused, on track and high quality in partnership with engineering.
Clear measures of success and projected impact for work.
Maintain partnerships and drive results with relevant teams across Microsoft
15+ years domain expertise in the Government and Public Sector industry
10 years of experience as a Program Manager in an engineering role developing customer-facing solutions, preferably at cloud-scale.
Strong analytical skills, combined with a strategic orientation, as well as an aptitude for solving complex business problems
Technical problem-solving and analytical skills using data analysis and escalation management in a complex environment
Experience managing projects with multiple work streams and partners; demonstrated strategic planning abilities
Experience working with Azure (or other competitive cloud services), AI and other cloud based SaaS offerings
Experience with program management for customer-facing CRM (customer relationship management) or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solutions a plus
Understanding of Dynamics 365 or other cloud ERP implementations a plus
