We are the Azure Data teams’ part of the C+E Azure organization. Azure data teams present interesting challenges in technologies such as big-data, cloud, storage and open-source. We build reliable, highly scalable and highly performing distributed systems for data analytics on Azure. We work with various open-source technologies like Hadoop, Spark etc., and make contributions to these technologies. Azure services are building next generation globally distributed, elastic scale, multi-model cloud analytics services. It is designed to enable developers to build planet-scale applications. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of a very agile team, take on hard big data problems and ship high impact features at a rapid pace. We are looking for a strong product/program manager with a passion for data and analytics. In this role you will shape and define product capabilities and experiences by deeply engaging with customers as well as by using data to understand engagement and quality of experience. You will create and lead with clarity while bringing a strong bias for action. The opportunities to significantly impact the team, Azure, Microsoft, and the industry are practically limitless.
Work with customers, partners, and the engineering team to define and deliver impactful capabilities in the big data space.
Drive user research, telemetry, and A/B testing to provide best in class data-driven insights
Work with UX designers and researchers to design experiences that are both highly effective and aesthetically pleasing.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Mathematics or Physics or IT technical discipline or in place of 3+ years of internship or 3+ years of industry engineering experience
7 years professional experience in product design, product management or product engineering
Hands on experience with data and analytics
Understanding of patterns and best practices of a modern analytics solution
Great curiosity and willingness to question
