Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO +I) is the team behind the cloud. CO+I is responsible for delivering over 200 Microsoft web portals, Live and Online Services around the world including infrastructure, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability. Microsoft is seeking a principal program manager to help shape the future of cloud infrastructure. As part of the Platforms and Datacenter Integration Engineering team within Cloud Operations and Innovation, you will work across multiple organizations at the intersection of infrastructure and the data center to ensure Microsoft can quickly meet a wide variety of customer needs at massive scale.
Represent and drive data center requirements throughout infrastructure lifecycle
Identify process gaps and drive process improvement efforts across multiple teams and organizations to ensure quality products deploy at scale in Microsoft’s datacenter fleet
Communicate progress and issues clearly and succinctly to executive management
Steer alignment of future infrastructure and data center designs
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
9+ years of data center infrastructure design/program management experience
8+ years’ experience in technical program management
Self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
Proven success in participating in cross-functional teams to deliver on key projects.
Excellent oral and written communication skills required for preparing clear, concise and grammatically correct materials and communicating information effectively to others
Preferred, not required:
MS degree in engineering and/or MBA
Experience with reporting and data analysis systems & platforms (e.g. PowerBI)
