Microsoft Corporation Principal Program Manager in Redmond, Washington
As the Microsoft Azure CTO blogged last year, “Microsoft spends one billion dollars per year on cybersecurity and much of that goes to making Microsoft Azure the most trusted cloud platform.” Even as Azure pushes the boundary on cloud security and privacy, with our focus on strict physical datacenter security, data privacy at rest and in transit, rigorous operational software development lifecycle controls, and novel threat detection approaches, we continually look for opportunities and technologies to improve our efforts.
Join the team spearheading the Confidential Computing business for Azure and help us channel the work done by Microsoft Research, Operating System teams, Developer Tools, and our third-party partners into new cloud compute offerings that are missing from public clouds today: encrypting data while in use.
Confidential computing encompasses enabling data computation in the cloud that can remain in customer control and maintaining confidentiality. It is driving changes in the platform to enable the most mission-critical applications and security-concerned customers to move to Azure.
The Azure Confidential Computing Program Management Team plays a key leadership role by driving confidential computing technologies, SDKs, ecosystem, solutions, and strategy, together with our engineering team.
We are seeking a Principal Program Manager who is excited about creating an industry-wide standard for developing confidential computing applications, working with industry partners, passionate about making customers successful, and experienced in navigating multi-organization initiatives.
This brand new role offers an opportunity to apply and grow one’s multi-party collaboration, negotiation, and strategic skills. In building what does not exist today to substantially grow the business through partners and our joint customers, this role will have strong influence on areas of investment and prioritization.
