In this role, you will be partnering with our Gaming and Azure organizations to ensure that the services we build meet the needs of Visual Studio developers. You will be at the forefront of defining tooling experiences that cover the breadth of the game development journey from the ease of acquiring the right tools for the job to using industry-standard compilers and toolchains to deliver breathtaking experiences. The gaming industry is moving rapidly to a model of continuous delivery of ever-evolving game play and scenarios (LiveOps) and with Game Stack, we have the opportunity to provide developers with all the tools required to rapidly bring ideas under development to market and increase engagement and monetization of games.

Define product roadmap and deliverables.
Conduct research to understand customer needs that we should address with the Visual Studio tools or Game Stack services.
Competitive research and hands-on experience with various technology stacks related to gaming.
Partner with Engineering, Marketing, and User Research to bring solutions to market.
Grow the audience requiring Microsoft’s tools and services.
5+ years of experience working in the gaming industry.
5+ years of experience in program or product management.
B.S. in Computer Science, Game Technology, Design or equivalent work experience.
Deep knowledge of the end-to-end lifecycle of game development using an engine of your choice (Unity, Unreal, etc.).
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
