Microsoft Corporation Principal Program Manager in Redmond, Washington

Azure Hybrid is a big part of our strategy in bringing the power of Azure to every organization on the planet. Our team is working on building an exciting new offering to our Azure Hybrid suite and looking for a seasoned technical PM to join us in this v1.0 effort.



You will be responsible for the security strategy and design for this new product. Hybrid products bring with it a new set of security challenges. It requires evaluating all the existing approaches to cloud and on-prem security and evolving those to address new threat vectors. This role will provide you with an opportunity to work across the stack, all the way from hardware, hypervisor to high level services in Azure and collaborate with teams across the organization.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years professional experience in systems / cloud security

  • 7+ years professional experience in cloud technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • You have deep knowledge of system level security design; demonstrated experience in enterprise and cloud security. You have successfully delivered highly secure products on time by balancing security with product capabilities and schedule.

  • Your excellent verbal and written communication skills will allow you to influence teams to prioritize the right security work for their areas.

  • Your structured, organized thinking and approach to project management will provide the necessary clarity and leadership across the different teams involved in the effort.

  • Prior experience with Windows / OS security subsystems and Azure / Cloud security is a big plus.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
