We are hiring an exceptional strategic leader to drive DC infrastructure planning efforts supporting hyper-scale Azure business globally through explosive and unprecedented growth and the challenges and opportunities that come with it.

More specifically, we are seeking leaders who:

  • Deliver integrated infra planning to support organic/ inorganic customer growth with infrastructure availability, expansion options as well as infrastructure architecture requirements.

  • Drive and direct Azure region expansion infrastructure capacity and capital plans to support Azure Global mission of enabling customers to adopt Azure in every country and every industry.

  • Establish and drive capacity, cost and efficiency objectives and metrics.

  • Develop, standardize and automate mechanism through which customer demand signals are captured and integrated into the planning and execution.

  • Own scalable programs or projects to ensure the completion of operational activities and minimization of risk to achieve customer promises.

  • Drive executive communication, rhythm of business activities within the team and across the org to ensure end-to-end success of end to end integrated planning and complex projects, with executive visibility and many critical dependencies.

Success in this role requires bringing:

  • Broad understanding of the Cloud Services industry; including key competitors, and global market and geo-political trends impacting top geo and industry transformation.

  • Experience leading process improvement, systems development, and project management across cross-functional teams.

  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously, willingness to roll up your sleeves.

  • Structural approach in solving complex problems, communicate to senior decision makers in a clear, compelling way, and drive decisive action in partnership with others in a large organization.

  • Stellar cross group collaboration, able to drive decisive action in partnership with others in a large organization, and deliver results that depend on other divisions and external partners.

  • Excellent communication skills, strong leadership and influencing skills. Ability to work independently in highly ambiguous environments, with both technical and business groups internally and externally.


Required Qualifications:

  • BS or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA preferred.

  • 8-10 years of product management, program management, and supply chain or infrastructure capacity planning experience.
