This Product Manager position is part of a team that enables Azure to manage and track service fundamentals across security, reliability, compliance domains and more. We work across all Azure teams and dive into data to deliver the best experiences for Azure.
You will directly influence Microsoft’s DevOps strategy and business while simultaneously having Microsoft-wide impact. This is a challenge like no other, because of your proximity to your customer; they sit right beside you and have a direct line to you while also delivering part of Microsoft’s DevOps market strategies via Azure. You will work together with design, engineering, and top Service teams @Microsoft to deliver unparalleled experiences for Microsoft engineers.
Your responsibilities include defining the product roadmap by working closely with partners and customers. You will deeply understanding the ecosystem that manages and maintains Service Fundamentals across Microsoft. You will partner with design team on product UX and evaluate designs with engineering teams. You will define a GTM strategy, launch, evangelize your product across Microsoft. This role requires strong product thinking, cross group collaboration and a strong data background. You will be responsible to generate actionable insights to improve Azure offerings and Azure fundamentals. You will get an opportunity to work closely with data and partner with our data science teams to continually drive intelligence in our products. This role requires strong customer empathy, ownership and eagerness to drive clarity through ambiguity.
7 years of Product/ Program Management experience
Prior experience as a Product/ Program Manager in a technical environment
A BS/MS of Computer Science, related field, or equivalent industry experience
Prior experience with cloud services is desirable.
Demonstrated ability to take a project or significant feature from concept to launch.
Ability to define and build metrics for service fundamentals to help improve the product
Background in Data mining and qualitative analytics
Meets/exceeds Microsoft’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
Strong collaboration and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation - to peers and executives)
