Our team drives the cross-company strategy for healthcare and life sciences, and applies Microsoft's deep technical assets on improving healthcare and health equity around the world. We focus on impacting technology and the industry in the 3-10 year horizon, and act as a bridge between Microsoft Research and product teams, and have landed numerous technical innovations into shipping products.
In your role as Principal Program Manager , you will work on real-world problems with strategic customers and partners to create new meaning out of patient data. You will impact Microsoft's healthcare technical and product strategy. You will be on point for a strategic collaboration with a major healthcare provider to drive a number of innovation projects, including demonstrating Microsoft and partner technologies in next generation sites of care. An entrepreneurial, start-up approach and willingness to take end-to-end ownership are key! You'll gain experience working across Microsoft's and partners' emerging and advanced technologies while making a difference in this critical space.
B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
5+ years' experience delivering technology solutions (engineering, program/product management, or data science)
2+ years' experience developing healthcare technology (engineering, program/product management, or data science)
Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem within the US and internationally
Demonstrated success driving strategic customer or partner engagements
Demonstrated end-to-end engineering project leadership
Fluency with machine learning and analytics
Strong verbal, visual, and written communication skills
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
