As a Principal Program Manager in the team, this position will lead a team who own:

  • A 24x7 insider threat monitoring program. This team will do reactive alert/alarm response and random sampling.

  • Drive engineering efforts with Software Engineering stakeholders who will build threat detection alerts/alarms in software.

  • Partner with the Insider Threat TPM to aide in production of Insider Threat Referral Reports that document issues on computer misuse, various violations of policy, counterintelligence concerns, foreign influence, financial stressors, workplace threats self/others, Continuous Evaluation (CE), adjudicative and other insider threat concerns.

  • Complete use case queries for new insider threat identification operations, using current infrastructure.

  • Access and integrate information from network monitoring tools and other data analytics tools and sources to decipher underlying trends or uncover anomalies and discern obscure patterns and attributes.

  • Prepare and present analysis, in the form of briefings and/or reports, to government client.

  • Perform proactive inquiries and collaborate with investigative entities, IC organizations, and Law Enforcement agencies/entities, at the direction and oversight of government supervisors.


Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements

  • Candidates must have an active TS and be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI (with polygraph) or have an active TS/SCI and be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI (with polygraph). This role will require candidates to maintain the TS/SCI (with polygraph) clearance

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter

Preferred Qualifications

  • Highly effective communication and collaboration with customers, partners and across teams

  • Technical aptitude in service design, architecture and software development

  • 7+ years of experience of Counterintelligence, CI Investigations, or analysis experience, or related field experience that is deemed Mission Essential per US Government standards

  • Shall have successfully graduated from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), Defense Cyber Investigations Training Academy (DCITA), Joint Counterintelligence Training Academy (JCITA), DoD, other US Federal Government, Intelligence Community, State, or local formal CI training courses or programs.

  • BS or Master’s Degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience
