Duties: Focus on development of novel optical components to enable compact and large field of view optical combiners for future wearable displays. Responsible for developing test and metrology capabilities for volume holographic optical elements, exposure methods and processes for hologram recording, integration and testing of the display system, and advancing the technology towards production capability. Define and implement high precision metrology instruments and tools for broad range of optical parameters at component and system level, work with vendors for development and qualification of tools and custom test systems, create test plans for component and system validation, and debug and root cause issues with fabricated components. Drive the display system integration and validation to meet performance targets.
