Responsibilities

As Azure’s Chief Technology Officer for Media and Entertainment, you’ll engage with industry leaders and senior Microsoft stakeholders to refine, accelerate, and execute our strategy. You will be responsible for:

  • Azure Media and Entertainment – from strategy to business performance

  • Strategic customer, partner, and industry engagements

  • Serving as the external voice of Azure Media and Entertainment with the community

  • Shaping the future of production, management, and distribution, starting with prioritized industry segments

To be successful you’ll need a deep understanding of:

  • Existing industry workflows spanning content creation, distribution, audience engagement, and monetization

  • Cloud + edge technologies and patterns

  • Incumbent and disruptive solutions

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of leadership experience with industry-leading TV/movie studios

  • 7+ years of practical technical experience in studio or broadcast workflows

  • Progressive experience as a leader in enterprise scale media and entertainment companies or experience leading cutting edge/disruptive startups with successful entrance to market

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in product or program management identifying customer requirements, defining solutions and introducing them to market

  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work well across many stakeholders and influence decisions and actions as an individual contributor

  • Based in New York City, Los Angeles, or Redmond, with travel as needed

  • Undergraduate degree in engineering or related disciplines

  • MBA
