About the role
IQVIA is hiring! We are recruiting an Associate Director - Project Manager to support the Global Connected Devices business.
Within this role you will be the primary point of contact for our clients and oversee and be responsible for the delivery of our Connected Devices projects globally. In addition, you’ll partner with the leadership team, establishing strategic goals and priorities to help establish a commercial HR function.
You’ll mentor and coach junior members of the team locally and remotely, helping them to drive performance and support delivery and drive exceptional delivery and performance. Within this role you will:
Manage large, global, multi-functional projects and program, including all Connected Devices, ensuring quality deliverables are delivered on time delivery and within budget.
You will ensure the development of project plans for all phases of the project lifecycle, including the quality and risk management, ensuring that issue escalation and resolution is clear and prompt
Develop proactive contingency plans to mitigate risk across studies
Direct and lead project activities for team members related to their project-oriented tasks to ensure that project/program milestones are met
Continually review and make recommendations to ensure adequate resources are available to meet project deliverables and milestones
Develop, lead and implement continuous improvement for assigned projects and programs
Act as the key relationship manager for assigned clients; recommend courses of action regarding client management issues; implement plan following approval by senior management ensuring adherence to change control processes
Provide consultation to clients on project management and connected devices development process, study management strategy, and plans as needed.
Monitor and manage efforts of cross-functional project teams responsible for the project deliverables
Work with Business Development to finalize the project/program budget and scope of work
Participate actively in bid defence meetings/ client meetings to present our capabilities
Travel for study specific Investigator meetings to present the services offered for the study
To be successful in this role you will have:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strategic decision making and conflict management skills
3-5 years of experience in Project Management within CRO industry
3-5 years of experience in client relationship management
Experience leading teams
Flexible to accommodate various timezones
Pursuit to learn more on technology in clinical trials
Understanding of wearable technology
