Perform new product or redesign quotation process with the proper details of material, labor and overheads.
Estimate with a good level of certainty the amount of labor, space, equipment needed for a new product or redesign implementation.
Evaluates, justify and implements new manufacturing processes and technology.
Coordinate and track the progress of a project, involving different areas like supply management, production, etc.
Works with W-planner, factory cad, pro-e, vis mock up and other electronic tools to perform all manufacturing engineering functions.
Establishes line design including lay outs, manufacturing process, tooling requirements, kanbans, methods, standard times and operation data sheet documentation for new products, based on JDQPS principles.
Participates in DPAR's and Quality planning sessions of new and redesigned products.
Coordinates new products implementation on production, including the installation of additional manufacturing machinery.
What Skills You Need:
English Language Domain
Knowledge of ProE
Knowledge of one of more manufacturing processes like Cutting, Bending, Machining, Welding, Painting.
Engineering Background Knowledge of EPDP process Knowledge of GD&T Knowledge of quoting process.
What Makes You Stand Out:
Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
Capital Budget & equipment justification.
Education (or equivalent experience):
- Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer Degree Formal education to perform the essential functions of the job, degrees, certifications in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience.
