Customer Service Intermediate level

Randstad has an exciting new opportunity to work with a new distributing company in the Portland area that is looking to build out their customer service team. On this team are responsible for providing top-tier customer service to internal and external teams to ensure customer satisfaction and lasting business relationships. The key aspects of this job include assisting customers with their order intake process and appropriate billing.

Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities will include:

• Processing new orders via incoming calls, emails, and current tickets for orders and other service requests

• Efficiently process orders to their completion once entered for high volume orders

• Assist with order inquiries

• Share needed information on orders via excel worksheets

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:

Preferred skills:

• Being able to actively listen to customer concerns and have a proven track record of being able to upsell items to customers

• Manage brand experience through exceptional telephone etiquette

• Ability to quote discounts, new items, and various other product information

• Previous B2B sales experience

• Previous experience interacting with upper level management in a sales environment

Qualifications:

• 1+ years in a sales/customer service call center environment

• Previous Oracle order management experience

• Team player mentality with problem-solving skills

• Proficient data entry and 10-key skills preferred

• Strong organizational skills
