Our client, an American global computer security software company, is currently seeking a Business Operations Specialist for a 4+ month contract position - located in Plano, TX

Overview & responsibilities for the position below;

Operations Specialist will play a key role in administering the operations, reporting and processes that drive the company’s Business Ops activities. You will assist in the planning of marketing activities, budgeting and provide regular reports/analytics on key operational and strategic performance indicators.

  • Prepare and assist the regular business reporting that show key KPIs and performance against plan

  • Enhance and improve our weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting decks, in partnership with functional stakeholders on the team

  • Support Budgeting and Planning processes and provide insights on budget vs. plan performance

  • Understand and monitor the marketing budget, prepare the quarterly Expense/Travel/ /staffing forecasts, including planning and estimating project costs.

  • Participate in and support quarterly budget and annual planning process.

  • Key liaison with vendors and internal support teams to ensure PO, invoice and budgeting is complete, tracked and processes are adhered to.

  • Design, develop and maintain core marketing operations processes to support collaboration and communication throughout the marketing and operations teams. Create and implement scalable processes to drive team efficiency.

  • Provide operational support to major projects as requested by management.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor Degree coupled with 2+ years’ experience in a finance or marketing operational role. Must hold demonstrated strong partnership and communications skills, across organizational levels and departments. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools – particularly strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables)

Ideally database experience and visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI)

Any working knowledge of Confluence, Jira, and other project management tools is a plus.
