-Contact all customers in their portfolio on a regular basis to ensure timely payment of current receivables and collect past due balances.
-Research daily cash on account balances and partner with Cash Applications to apply as applicable.
-Work with delinquent Customers to bring their accounts current in the shortest period of time possible .
-Investigate and resolve issues related to disputed invoices, including Initiating requests for credit memos, correcting PO#’s and requesting payment.
-Maintain accurate and timely data and back up information on collection activity for management’s evalua t ion of aged accounts.
-Establish and maintain effective partnering relationships with internal and external departments to ensure timely resolution of customer issues
-Monitor assigned credit hold queue and determine whether to release orders or obtain approvals to release orders as applicable.
-Provide account level input for quarterly bad debt analysis.
-Meet or exceed financial metrics
What are we looking for?
Education: Associates Degree in Business Administration or equivalent field is preferred. Experience may substitute for education requirement.
Experience: 1-3 years Business to Business Collections experience
-Detail oriented, efficient, ability to multi-task with problem solving, analytical and mathematical skills
-Excellent customer relations, verbal and written communication skills
-Positive attitude, goal oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work with some supervision
-Dependable, flexible and the ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
-Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
-Call Center Experience Desired
-PC literate with the ability to quickly learn new software and system platforms
-Understanding of ERP systems with Oracle R12 software experience desired but not required
