Quality Control Technician

Randstad is now hiring a full-time Quality Control Technician with the world's 16th largest pharmaceutical company right here in O'hara, PA! Work is Monday through Friday, 40+ hrs/wk, $16-$17/hr with benefits and an opportunity for advancement within the company. This position exists to provide resource and expertise in electromechanical quality inspections. This position will provide support to the medical device manufacturing site, utilizing process and product understanding with proven problem solving skills. The Quality Inspector performs a key role in adherence to regulatory requirements, including vendor specifications, procedural compliance, documentation accuracy, and training requirements. This position provides a supporting role in the way of quality control. These functions are to be performed in a timely manner to meet quality and productivity goals of the department. This role will interact between many departments and is a position that requires leadership skills, a positive attitude and demonstrates a willingness to support teamwork. This position requires that the individual is flexible, adaptable, and willing to work any assignments based on business needs and may include weekends or overtime work.


Demonstrated ability to perform quality control inspections, measurements, and functions (Testing raw material and purchased assemblies as required).Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), good manufacturing practices (GMP), traceability, and material review board (MRB).

Ability to perform automated testing techniques and requirements

Established Communication skills with the ability to utilize applicable terminology

Interpersonal skills to interact professionally and constructively with their supervisor and coworkers to enhance teamwork and to foster positive working relationships.

Works with engineers and technicians to resolve raw material issues and suggests improvements

Appropriate attention to detail and understanding of continuous improvement/lean initiatives

Maintain accurate records/documentation related to quality records, work in progress, test results, and special products.

Working hours: 6:30 AM - 2:50 PM


Ability to interpret technical drawings and visual work instructions

Knowledge of GD&T

Familiarity with quality metrology tools (i.e. calipers, gages, micrometers)

Proven attention to detail, sound judgment, continuous improvement, teamwork, and customer focus.

Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced changing situations.


High School




High School Diploma/GED - Required

1-3 years experience performing quality control inspections
