Schedule: Monday through Friday: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with rotating weekends

Pharmacy Technicians assist pharmacists in practicing palliative care for hospice patients in our Call Center.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produce quality of work that is above the industry average

  • Provide superior customer service to our hospice partners

  • Proficient in current technology system(s) to perform the following tasks: enter patient admissions, change an active patient to discharge/deceased status, transfer patients, update demographic changes, process refills, and documenting as needed.

  • Assist callers with customer service issues including FedEx package tracking and completing the CS report form to report all service failures

  • Assist local pharmacies with adjudication of claims

  • Assists with fulfillment of orders at applicable sites.

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to respond to high volume inbound calls in a timely and effective manner

Required Experience:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-motivated

  • Organized: Ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Team player

  • Problem-solving skills and ability to follow through on tasks assigned

  • Possess unquestionable personal and professional ethics, in concert with the standards of Enclara Pharmacia.

  • Adaptable to change in systems and practice environment.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Customer service experience required

  • Call center experience preferred

  • Recent pharmacy technician experience preferred

Computer Skills:

  • General Windows-based computer skills

  • Strong typing skills with a minimum of 20 wpm

  • General working knowledge of Microsoft applications
