The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the tenure track. Expertise is required in the specific area of neuromuscular diseases.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents, and neuromuscular fellows, as well as teaching within the Penn provider network and actively participating in Penn graduate programs based on his/her research focus.
Clinical responsibilities may include the clinical care of patients with neuromuscular diseases.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include establishment of an innovative, independent research program that will attract and maintain extramural funding from governmental agencies, private foundations, and industry.
Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board-Certified in Neurology.
