Account Manager Onion - Treasure Valley, Idaho/Eastern Oregon

Where the Chemistry Happens…

We are seeking a professional like you to develop the market position and market share of Nunhems Onions as well as build up a long-term relationship with international or national customer in line with the M&S strategy and within BASF Vegetable Seeds in order to realise profitability and partnership.

Formula for Success: You Will…

  • Plan, review,adapt and execute the annual sales plan for the North American Onion market.

  • Represent thecompany and introduce relevant products and concepts to customers to build longterm partnership and generate short term sales. Direct involvement ininternational or cross-border projects with customers is a substantial part ofthe work.

  • Provide market,price, and product information in order to contribute to the formulation of themarketing and sales plan in the Global Onion Team.

  • Take care of themoney collection in line with the financial policy and the payment terms toensure sufficient cash flow.

  • Contribute to thetrial program to come up with proposals regarding the assortment for localneeds or for specific customers.

  • Develop a strategic plan for each customer.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Five years of Sales experience

· Well-rounded knowledge of vegetable seed business

· Strong Agronomic Skills

· Advanced written and verbal communication skills

· Strong entrepreneurial spirit combined with a good ability to influence decisions of people with different backgrounds and in various functions
