Maintain inventory control of parts and equipment. Maintain equipment yard in an organized and good working order. Perform shop maintenance functions. RESPONSIBILITIES:All essential functions, duties, and other responsibilities will be performed following safety guidelines/practices and be in support of the Company's Mission, Vision, and Principles Statements and will include the following: This position may involve knowledge of confidential information. Such information will be handled with the utmost discretion. - Comply with government safety requirements and other regulations and security in store; report safety violations to supervisor.- Perform inspections as required by management.- Maintain clean physical facilities; perform grounds maintenance, snow removal, and general upkeep. - Perform weekly inventory of Foley assets; inform supervisor of low inventory levels. - Scan equipment during shipping and receiving process.- Wash & thoroughly clean equipment as needed.- Perform minor repairs and maintenance to shop equipment.- Pull parts as needed and perform other parts functions as needed. - Load and unload machines and engines/transmissions.- Assist in monthly regulatory inspections as directed by management. - Organize yard and warehouse as defined by management.- Open and close all gates on company yard daily.- Drive to deliver and pick up equipment and supplies as needed.SKILLS: Basic computer skills and the ability to learn to effectively use company software - with training. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to perform minor repairs and diagnostic work on all makes of equipment. Positive customer service skills. A basic understanding of the terminology related to the products and services that the company sells. Ability to gain a working knowledge of equipment, its use and how equipment is operated. Availability and capability to travel/drive for business purposes. Must have or be able to obtain a DOT medical card. Must have a clean motor vehicle record. REQUIREMENTS: - High school diploma or equivalent. - One to three months of related experience and/or training. - Basic repair and diagnostic experience with various types of rental equipment.
