U.S. Bank Senior Project Manager - Retail Distribution Planning in Owensboro, Kentucky

Participates in the identification, design, development and implementation of assigned projects. Assigned projects may be general or systems related in nature. Interfaces with internal and external resources to ensure successful and timely completion in accordance with user needs. Participates in training users and evaluating the project. Manages performance of the project team and evaluates overall team performance.

Specific Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Responsible for development of network strategies for branch locations

• Develop data driven recommendations for the branch network through de novos, consolidations, renovations, and transformations

• Analyze viable branch and ATM distribution actions through a data driven approach that is both qualitative and quantitative; resulting in a recommendation to consolidate, relocate, or invest

• Conduct field research in driving the market with first line of defense team to further the organization’s understanding of network characteristics and performance drivers

• Support branch and ATM distribution

• Work with cross functional teams with partners in Finance, CRE, Branch Design, and ATM to execute network strategies

• Serve as Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) subject matter expert

• Lead strategic projects

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 10 or more years of experience in project management activities

  • Two or more years of managerial experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Willingness and ability to travel at least 25%

  • Working knowledge of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)

  • Expert knowledge of assigned business line or functional area

  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Advanced knowledge of project management

  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – including communicating and presenting to executive level leadership
