Westgate Resorts Resort Services Operator in Orlando, Florida

SUMMARY Operates switchboard to relay incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls by performing the following duties.

DUTIES Completes daily reports and records as required. Answers, screens, and routes outside calls. Supplies information to callers and records messages. Keep records of calls placed. Print out all vacant units. Call back each guest who called to assure completion of request. Maintains required record/log book relating to the housekeeping functions, outside contracted services or other as required. Prepare and assign daily assignments for both contract cleaners and housekeeping staff including partial and full service. Coordinates with front desk via Owner Forecast Grid to ensure all owner villas are first priority and that there are adequate villas in the system for the night arrival. Inputs and manages timeshare villa status for front desk. Liaisons with front desk daily for partial and full services and VIP lists.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or team members of organization. Bilingual- English/Spanish preferred.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such ass discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITIES Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
