Functions in leadership role to coordinate all office activities for the assigned multi-physician office(s), part of the Norman Regional Health System's Physician Office Network.
Responsible for efficitnt daily operatioin of assigned clinic(s). Directly oversees all clinic staff, priotrizing and reviewing physician requests, flexing staff, directing work flow, and maintains files for profiders and staff to meet all licensure and certification requirements.
Achieves optimum patient, staff and physician satisfaction, using available resources to resolve complaints, and solicits feedback in an effort to provide a safe, pleasant and rewarding working environment.
Demonstrates Team Building Skills, making sound hiring decisions adressing the need for additioianl staff develpmpent as needed and addresses performance or behavioral issues through corrective action.
Demonstrates Problem Solving Skills and exercises good judement in maiking sound, well0informed effective and timely decisions often with limited resources.
Demonstrates conflict management skills, resolving conflicts and addressing patient complaints and or concerns.
Provides Clerical and Clinical Support as necessary and within the scope of Education/Licensure.
High School Graduate or GED. Requires knowledge of medical billing, insurance, medical terminology, medical coding, and clinical diagnoses by experience or formal education. Advanced Education Preferred.
Minimum of one year of similar experience in a physician practice/medical office required. Supervisory experience in medical office highly preferred. Able to demonstrate, train and maintain excellent customer service within the clinic.
