Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Manufacturing Manager for the North Mankato, MN facility.As a key member of the site's strategic leadership team, this position is responsible for driving manufacturing excellence across the facility with a focus on Environmental, Safety, Security and Health (ESSH), people development, quality, productivity and cost control. The successful candidate will exhibit strong leadership and communication skills to create alignment and teamwork across the facility. Your Responsibilities: Partner with the General Manager and leadership team to identify and resolve key issues and constraints facing the facility, drive business profitability and long-range plan execution. Visibly champion and influence our organizational values, standards and expectations. Partner to oversee the manufacturing of products ensuring production, performance and quality standards are consistently achieved. Deliver and maintain superior safety and environmental performance measured by lagging and leading indicators. Drive quality performance across the facility. Direct and prioritize maintenance to achieve targeted metrics. Continuously improve productivity, reduce waste, and apply lean manufacturing concepts and processes across the organization. Responsible for meeting budgeted and forecasted cost targets through implementation of continuous improvement actions, yield and usage improvements and conversion cost reductions. Drive improvement through application of best practices (Six Sigma and Lean) and technology. Monitor results to ensure improvements are maintained and benefits are sustainable over the long term. Ensure that KPI's are communicated to the team and that they are being achieved. Take ownership of the whole process to deliver 100% on time delivery to our customers. Your Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Monday - Thursday: On Site, Friday: WFH You Must Have: 4+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing environment Strong interpersonal skills Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment Direct management experience involving multiple functions and budgetary accountability Results oriented with ability to work proactively and independently in a high-performance environment Thorough knowledge and understanding of lean manufacturing processes, safety and quality procedures, guidelines, and regulations Proven change agent with exposure to project management Proven ability to develop strong relationships at all levels of the organization Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent coaching and facilitation skills We Would Also Prefer: ISO 9001 Certification or Similar Quality Processes. Lean Management Training. Experience with print production (digital). Experience with startup of new production line or facility.
