Disney Streaming Services is a business unit within The Walt Disney Company’s Direct-to-Consumer and International (DTCI) segment that oversees all consumer-facing digital video subscription services across the company. Disney Streaming is responsible for developing and operating The Walt Disney Company’s direct-to-consumer video businesses globally, including the ESPN+ premium sports streaming service, programmed in conjunction with ESPN; the upcoming Disney SVOD service; and BAMTECH Media, a global leader in direct-to-consumer video streaming products and solutions. Its core mission is to deliver global audiences the freedom to access content on their terms across any connected device, time or location.

The Customer Acquisition team is tasked with driving new subscriber growth. The team is responsible for the planning, execution and optimization of user acquisition and performance marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate is able to lead a number of key strategic initiatives from marketing tests to internal tech development, while maneuvering through a complex landscape of teams and responsibilities. The candidate should demonstrate an ability to stay on top of multiple high priority projects and be an excellent communicator.

Responsibilities :

  • The paid media strategy projects manager will own a number of key initiatives for the strategy team:

  • Own marketing landing page implementation, working with creative and product teams. Suggest improvements, plan tests and track required pages are being developed.

  • Develop and track marketing testing hypotheses and work with the paid media team to prioritize based on business impact.

  • Work with key external partners to influence marketing product developments

  • Work with the paid media team to develop marketing tech asks and work with the product team to prioritize build it vs buy it.

  • Lead efforts to streamline campaign creative asks and development and research tools to help with automation.

  • Find ways to improve work processes and internal communication around key projects.

  • Manage relationships across multiple teams and find innovative ways to get things done in a fast paced environment

Basic Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of work experience in digital marketing, project management, business strategy, conversion rate optimization, ad tech, marketing tech or similar roles.

  • Experience developing marketing landing pages and working on conversion rate optimization projects. Knowledge of the marketing principles behind non-member customer journeys.

  • Experience managing projects across multiple teams and demonstrated success in getting things done in complex environments.

  • An understanding of statistics and testing methodologies

  • Familiarity with direct to consumer marketing

  • Familiarity with sports and/or entertainment marketing a plus

  • Knowledge of digital marketing - programmatic, RTB, paid social, paid search a plus.

  • Flexibility & ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment

  • A strong communicator with a can-do, positive attitude and a strong desire to get things done

  • Sense of humor and desire to have fun!
