The Marketing Segment & Services Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
Replace an individual within the NA Market Management team who is transitioning to another role within Citi. This role and will continue the journey to up-tier the NA Core Cash (and X-TTS) Market Management discipline across Market Assessment and Commercialization.
Ideally, the candidate would have a good internal brand / network, Payments & Receivables or Cross Cash expertise, savvy and proven track record leveraging data to solve problems or drive towards opportunities and ability to create and roll-out standardized processes.
This Market Manager will be responsible for Commercialization:
Play a critical role in developing and executing effective go to market strategies together with product partners with the aim to drive net new revenues.
Integrate the best approaches with data and insights into client level engagements and portfolio level exercises (e.g. targeting and segmentation) even though part of the approach may be manufacture by the Global Team
Developing and promoting cross product solution packages or decision frameworks in collaboration with business partners in Product and Market Management.
Enabling Sales functions to hasten the client discovery, solution identification, pricing processes
Driving the NA TTS organization to an elevated level of operation given latest available understanding of the competitive marketplace
This role will be required to drive action across the organization (esp. other functions: Marketing, Sales, etc.) in order to achieve goals and ensure that a BAU operational model is in place
Gather feedback to evolve process and practices and further embed within the TTS business
The Market Manager position provides a unique opportunity for the incumbent to work across the NA Cash and TTS business and develop holistic, product agnostic and innovative programs
This wide perspective will position the incumbent well for both broader, strategic functions within NA and TTS as well as product management functions in the firm
Provides senior stakeholder exposure and ability to work closely with senior management to drive our business to the next level

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, Qualifications
Ability to work with direct and virtual teams cutting across silos and boundaries, with the focus on driving value for client and new revenues for Citi. Team player.
Confidence, ability and maturity needed to work closely with stakeholders on a daily basis
Analytical abilities to develop, evolve and industrialize processes from that drive replication, self-service and economies of scale
Proven abilities to focus resources and leverage data and analysis to drive towards business objectives
Deeper knowledge in one of the TTS Cash businesses
Some knowledge of cash and treasury management and working knowledge of the TTS business, balance sheet, revenue drivers, and products
Fundamental understanding of client’s liquidity, working capital, and treasury technology & operational needs
Developing or established understanding of innovations and disruptive technologies in the cash management space
Eagerness to understand client trends and distill them for mass consumption and direct business impact
Desire to challenge the conventional, own a problem, bring others on board and drive the firm to creating solutions
Strong communication skills, ability to articulate complex ideas and analytics in succinct and easy to grasp form
10 years prior product development, market management or corporate sales experience in banking and/or technology companies
Strong abilities to gather consensus on priorities and drive initiatives
Keen abilities in delivering presentations and other forms of verbal and written communication including ways to leverage virtual communities, social media, Collaborate, surveys, etc.
Proficiency in PowerPoint, excel and analytical skills a must
Bachelor’s required; MBA or equivalent professional qualification preferred
