Follow up with physicians – DNFB reportmanagement
Accessing electronic medical recordsin various applications
Review documents for completion andassign to corresponding Physicians
Review documents for accuracy of datesand locations
Correction of any errors found withinthe medical records
Assembling of medical records
Answering phone and making outboundcalls as needed
Perform a variety of diverse office /clerical duties supporting the department's operations; including, but notlimited to, answering telephone, maintaining files, sorting mail, keepinginventory of supplies, and informing management of all activities, needsand problems
Otherduties as assigned
High School Diploma / GED orhigher
Experience with Microsoft Word(create correspondence and work within templates), Microsoft Excel (dataentry, sort / filter, and work within tables), and Microsoft Outlook(email and calendar management)
Ability to navigate a PC toopen applications, send emails, and conduct data entry
Must be able to work 37.5 hoursper week. They will work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Candidates must also have theflexibility to adjust daily schedule and work overtime, weekends andholidays as needed.
Associate's Degree (or higher)
Experience in Hospital, Physician'soffice setting, Healthcare Insurance Company, revenue cycle vendor and /or other revenue cycle - related role
Understanding of InsurancePolicies and Procedures
Knowledge of MedicalTerminology
Previous experience in EMR(Electronic Medical Records)
6+ months of healthcare -related customer service experience
