responsibilities:

W2 ONLY!!!!!!

- Analyze data from different sources

  • Prepare data load as required for reporting purposes

  • Provide recommendations to optimize data pull and analysis, proactively working to confirm accuracy of the data, and present conclusions based on findings

  • Meet regularly with team members to analyze business requirements, evaluate current tools and processes, provide input to design of technology solutions and problem solve both technical and non-technical issues

  • Compile Excel spreadsheets to create reports and presentations.

  • Active involvement and ownership of data maintenance, analysis and reporting.

  • Support the research, analysis and presentation of information by producing reports, compiling and summarizing information, and producing supporting documentation.

  • Interpret reports and make recommendations to internal team.

  • Communicate conclusions through spreadsheet documents, presentations, meeting participation and one-on-one conversations.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency and formulate and implement process improvements in consultation with internal team.

  • Develop, produce and maintain ad hoc and custom reports.

qualifications:

  • High energy, detail-oriented, and capable self-starter with the ability to explore innovative ways to perform tasks in an efficient and timely manner as an individual and in a team environment.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to express ideas in a clear, concise and compelling manner.

  • Strong collaboration skills with demonstrated experience delivering successful outcomes on projects or initiatives

  • Working with systems, enhance/develop tools to streamline work processes and integrate operations.

  • Provide Microsoft (MS) Access Database, MS Excel, MS SQL Server, and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)

  • 5+ years of advanced Excel macro VB scripting experience

  • Familiarity with basic financial/ accounting/bookkeeping

  • Able to closely collaborate with stakeholders

  • Highly adaptable, resilient and able to deal with ambiguous requirements

  • Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written

  • B.S. Degree in CS, Engineering or relevant professional experience

  • Experience with writing, editing, and pass-through querying

skills:

  • Minimum BS in Computer Science or Engineering

  • Must be comfortable large amounts of data.

  • Strong experience pulling, optimizing, analyzing and proactively working to confirm accuracy of the data, and present conclusions based on findings

  • Provide Microsoft (MS) Access Database, MS Excel, MS SQL Server, and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)

  • 5+ years of advanced Excel macro VB scripting experience - power user

  • Familiarity with basic financial/ accounting/bookkeeping

  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
