We continue to see an increased levels of cyber-attacks and fraudulent payment activity across the industry. These attacks are not limited to banks but are impacting all client segments with ransomware and malware attacks causing significant disruption across the corporate, public sector and FI segments, in multiple jurisdictions. These attacks are placing new and unforeseen asks on the financial service provider of any impacted institution as well as highlighting the need for the constant evolution of Citi’s own controls, processes and capabilities to ensure risk is continuously mitigated and we maintain best in class cyber risk management processes.

The Cyber Risk –Product Manager is a new role reporting to the TTS Global Payments and Receivables Cyber Risk Head, and will contribute to the formulation of TTS Payments & Receivables Cyber Risk strategy and the execution. This role will be focused on Cyber Risk Management and will work extensively and in partnership with multiple functions including TTS Operations, Technology, IS, Cyber Security Fusion Center, Risk and the broader TTS Network in order to ensure a cohesive response to this evolving risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. TTS Global Payments Cyber Resiliency Agenda
  • Contribute to the formulation of the TTS Payments & Receivables Cyber Risk strategy and drive execution in partnership with TTS, Operations, Technology, IS and Risk leads.

  • Drive the evolution of our capabilities and processes to enable a flexible and scalable response in an instance where Citi is breached.

  • Drive multiple enhancements of our capabilities and processes to facilitate a scalable best in class response process

  • Co-ordinate and lead cyber related projects (i.e. working in coordination with the Continuity of Business team on the cyber related playbooks related to Payments critical systems, assist in the development of regional cyber response playbooks, work in coordination with operations to continue to build out the scope and capabilities of the Cyber BCC, etc.)

  • Define the governance structure for various cyber scenarios and ensure the documentation of crisis management processes and playbooks across the business, ensuring the institutionalizing of same.

  • Develop internal and external communication protocols working with multiple partners including the Cyber Security Fusion Centre to ensure that the Payments &Receivable’s protocols and processes are aligned with Citi’s protocols and processes.

  • Provide support to Regional cyber incidents and projects

  • Assist on occasions where there is live Cyber breach scenario ongoing and assist for rapid response and support for instances where our client has been breached, where appropriate.

  • Represent Citi on various industry forums and drive industry evolution to further secure the eco-system, ensuring a cyber-industry engagement strategy is in place across the entire Payments & Receivables business

  • Assist in the response to compliance, internal audit, and regulatory exams.

  1. Responsible for managing the TTS SWIFT Customer Security Program (CSP) Attestation Consumption program.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with Markets, Security Services, and Trade Services for alignment and execution of the SWIFT CSP Attestation Consumption program.

  • Coordination with the CSP Operations team enable process, procedures, tools and management reporting

  • Provide effective risk framework to support requirements.

  • Manage governance and oversight of process, client reviews, risk mitigation strategies and deployment, etc.

  • Integration of annual SWIFT CSP requirements, along with continuous improvement of the program and processes, procedures, policy etc.

  • Liaison with Sales and Relationship Management for awareness, communication, and managing the many potential client touch points and impacts

Qualifications

  • 5+ years related experience including cash management & payments

  • Deep Industry knowledge of payment industry and systems

  • Some understanding of Cyber Risk landscape

  • Broad understanding of current regulatory environment

  • Risk Oriented Individual strong understanding of risk management and an intuitive ability to assess risk

  • Superior Communication and Influencing skills

  • Analytical individual with ability to model data and draw conclusions

  • Ability to prioritize and motivate the organization to those priorities.
