KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, Engagement Setup to join our Deal Advisory & Strategy organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Set-up engagements, manage key performance indicators, and work with the engagement team to identify areas of potential exposure

  • Submit and review conflict checks, conflict resolution and client and target entity research, including, Dun and Bradstreet reports, utilizing KPMG's client engagement databases and tools

  • Prepare work papers, invoices, and closure letters for client

  • Serve as a subject matter resource to engagement teams on Opportunity Management and Engagement Set-Up

  • Provide technical support for the firm's client/engagement set-up procedures and risk management systems

  • Prepare various reports related to Opportunity Management and Engagement Set-Up for leadership as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of Accounting or Finance experience preferably within a professional services firm

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience

  • Experience using internet research tools and database management

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
