Trinity Health Clinical Care Technician - New Hampton - Full Time - Days in New Hampton, Iowa

*HOURLY PAY RANGE: $12.00 - $16.44*

*Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm*

*JOB SUMMARY*

The Clinical Care Tech/Office and Patient Coordinator provides quality administrative and clerical services for program staff and assists Senior Life Solutions patients with care needs. They provide transportation to patients in a provided vehicle, as applicable.

*POSITION QUALIFICATIONS*

Education:

CNA as minimal requirement, MA or LPN preferred

*Experience: *

Performing clerical duties, working with computers and electronic medical records, providing care to older adults in hospital or nursing facility environment.

Comfort with transportation and driving a van.

Experience transporting patients, preferred but not required.

Knowledge of community resources for older adults, familiarity with medical terminology and medical team roles functioning with other hospital departments, basic computer applications.

Previous experience as nurse's aide in hospital setting preferred or Nursing Student.

Special Skills and Competencies:

Must provide proof of *Basic Life Support* (BLS Healthcare Provider, American Heart Association; or American Red Cross, Professional Rescuer-LIVE class only) via current card prior to employment or within 60 days of hire and maintains current status.

Completes *Mandatory Reporting: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse* requirement within 6 months of hire and renews this requirement every 5 years.

*Motor Vehicle: *

Will need to operate __ X Mercy Vehicle

List any special licenses or requirements for Mercy vehicle operation Chauffer License_____

Note: If required to operate Mercy vehicle, will need to maintain valid driver's license. If required to operate personal vehicle, will need to maintain valid driver's license and provide proof of adequate insurance coverage.
