St. Joseph Health Nursing Assistant - 2North (Telemetry) in Napa, California

We are looking for a Nursing Assistant for Telemetry at Queen of the Valley!

Location: Queen of the Valley Medical Center - Napa, CA

Schedule: Full-time - 80 biweekly hours

Shift: 8-hour Nights


Performs basic patient care by assisting in the treatment and care of patients under the direction of a licensed nurse. Performs all work under moderate supervision.


  • Possesses effective skills in communication (English) and interpersonal relationships, as demonstrated by the ability to notify licensed nurse of patient changes and/or abnormal findings

  • Creates and sustains positive working relationships as demonstrated by open, honest, and respectful communications and interactions and ability to be flexible

  • Knowledge of medical terminology


Education: High School graduate or equivalent

Experience: None

Training: None

License / Certification : Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification


  • Acute care hospital experience

  • Certified Nursing Assistant

  • Basic computer skills

  • Three (3) months of experience in the medical field within previous two (2) years
