Test Engineer

Contract position: A Test Engineer is needed for an American multinational corporation specializing in Internet-related services and products in the Mountain View, CA area. This position will work with the RF/EE/Software engineers to develop test automation systems for lab evaluation and factory production, improve test efficiency, expedite data collection and analysis. No per diem available. No travel is anticipated.

Responsibilities for the Test Engineer

  • Develop test automation for lab evaluation and factory production. Develop data post-processing, plotting, reporting and analysis.

  • Develop Andriod App for standalone RF tests. Test automation development and debugging. New test features and methodology implementation. Data post processing, plotting, reporting and analysis.

Requirements for the Test Engineer

  • Experience with consumer electronics testing for NPI and mass production. Working knowledge of remote controlling RF test equipment (e.g. signal generator, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, communication test set, power meter, etc.)

  • Must have a basic understanding of RF, antenna, wireless communication, WiFi, GPS, radio sensitivity, OTA testing.
