Contract position: An Engineering Project Specialist is needed for an American multinational corporation specializing in Internet-related services and products in the Mountain View, CA area. This position will ensure that the engineering requirements are captured and built into configurations throughout development. No per diem available. International travel is anticipated.

Responsibilities for the Specialist

  • Maintain product allocation database and work with Contract Manufacturing, Logistics and Distribution teams to ensure timely distribution to all product groups.

  • Lead build readiness meetings with Contract Manufacturing team and manage product labeling, packouts and build documentation. Receive readiness with the distribution center.

  • Facilitate part number creation and communication with internal and Contract Manufacturing teams. Work with Safety/Compliance/Logistic for product ship method and path.

Requirements for the Specialist

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience working in consumer hardware and with new hardware developments.
