Job Summary

NATURE OF WORK: Provides clinical supervision and training of assigned employees. Works in the clinical practice of therapy. Responsible for provision of individual, group and/or family therapy by providing assessments, plans and sets treatment goals and objectives with the client. Evaluates progress toward these goals. Advocates on behalf of the client and provides crisis assistance/intervention. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Works with the Clinical Director to ensure that services are in compliance with agency guidelines. Plans and provides clinical supervision consistent with current models to clinical staff as assigned to ensure that client services are provided in accordance and compliance with agency guidelines. Plans and provides clinical trainings consistent with State and agency guidelines to assigned employees. Responsible for implementation, oversight and monitoring of MDTV for clinical tele-therapy services. Assess clients in an intake evaluation. Keep treatment plans and reviews current for the assigned caseload. Formulates and initiates treatment plan(s) to address goals of clients. Evaluates progress towards treatment objective(s) and revises treatment plan(s) as needed. Maintains productivity of caseload to meet standards. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, adhering to professional standards, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks. Manages schedule and service delivery to client caseload so as to efficiently maximize client access to services. OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to perform Essential Duties as outlined below. MS in a Human Services field an accredited institution of higher education. Knowledge of various diagnostic categories and clinical manifestations. Three years experience in provision of behavioral health services. Knowledge of West Virginia Medicaid and Behavioral Health Licensure regulations. Ability to comply with Division departmental safety procedures. Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
