Job Summary

Our Alternative Delivery Group is seeking a Document Control Coordinator in Mississauga for major complex multi-disciplinary transportation projects who is able to undertake design team and design contract management of large DB and P3 projects.

  • Maintain document control system to ensure that processes comply with internal procedures, Client’s standards, and regulatory requirements;

  • Manage the processing, issuing, reproduction, and filing of engineering documents, such as drawings, reports, manuals, etc.;

  • Manage receipt, filing, distribution and archiving of all project documents;

  • Assist in creating and implementation of a reporting system to track all RFIs, NCRs, submittals, change logs, and other project documentation;

  • Ensure quality control procedures are maintained, participate in internal audits as required;

  • Provide adequate training and support to project members to enable successful use of document control and systems procedures;

  • Support project team in general administrative functions, including organizing presentation materials, meeting minutes, various reports;

  • Perform other project document control and administrative tasks as assigned by the Project Controls Manager;

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • 4 years of experience in administration and document control;

  • Strong computer skills such as MS Access, Word, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, SharePoint, ProjectWise, and other document management systems such as Aconex;

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience working on large projects, preferably in an engineering environment;
