Director of Social Services in Minneapolis, MN at Providence Place Job Description Providence Place is looking for a Social Services Director to their amazing team! The Social Services Director is responsible for managing the operations of the Social Services department in order to ensure that Social Services are provided to the residents in accordance with the established state and federal regulations and Company policies and procedures. They are additionally responsible for the hiring, training, and management of Social Services staff. The shift(s) for this position are as follows: Days The pay range would be: Job Requirements Must have a minimum of LSW licensure in the state of MN and in good standing Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families, and to work cooperatively with staff Knowledge of State and Federal Guidelines Demonstrate skills in communication, documentation, assessment, and social work methods and techniques Good problem solving and decision making skills Ability to balance day-to-day management priorities of people, projects and deadlines, and adhere to a budget. Long-Term Care experience preferred Must be capable of performing the Essential Job Functions with or without reasonable accommodation Must meet all local health regulations.
