Outsides Sales Representative

Do you enjoy building relationships and closing sales? Our client within the Employer Benefits Industry is looking for an Outside Sales Rep/Broker to handle outside sales within NH, MA, S. ME, and N. CT. The ideal candidate will be seasoned, have health, life, vision, dental, and disability insurance experience and possess either a NH or MA Life and Health License. Our client will interview ASAP. We are looking for individuals based in NH or MA, but will consider anyone with relevant experience. Monday, in-office sales meetings are mandatory in the company's Merrimack, NH corporate location. This position offers high earning opportunity. Sales cycles vary from 2 months to a year depending on company size.

Outside Sales/Broker

Merrimack, NH (Corp. Office)

$35,000-$40,000 Base

Permanent Hire

Commission Structure:

Uncapped

First Plan Year: 50%

Residual on Renewal: 20%

Residual commissions are earned as long as the client remains active with the company.

Benefits: Mileage, Laptop, Cell Phone, Office at corporate headquarters if needed, Gym, Heath, Life, Dental, Long and Short Term Disability. 10 Paid Holidays, 17 PTO days a year.

Responsibilities:

-Achieve Annual Sales Quota for new and retention business

-Maintains an assigned, existing book of business plus identifies and develops additional opportunities for revenue growth and new accounts.

-Perform Quarterly reviews with current clients.

-Maintain high level of customer care by having regular contact throughout year.

-Prospect clients by making calls, setting appointments, and managing sales pipeline.

-Negotiate with carries regarding rates, plan details and rate guarantees on a client specific basis.

-Conducts open enrollment meetings, carrier notifications, and new business installation.

-Handles client retention, meeting goal of 90% year over year.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:

-PC Skills including MS Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word) as well as Salesforce and Gen4

-Experience working in carrier websites and vendor databases

-Strong Hunter Ability to seek out and close new accounts

Qualifications:

-5+ years of applicable sales experience with proven results.

-Bachelors Degree Preferred

-Current NH, or MA Health and Life Producers License
