Here\'s your opportunity: As a Finisher, you will be responsible for performing finishing techniques; grinding and polishing products to a cosmetic finish. Assembles and packages finished products as required. Must be proficient in most finishing techniques while meeting production demands.Adheres to safety and quality standards. Here\'s how you\'ll contribute: Basic understanding of department specific finishing techniques (wet or dry) Responsible for safely rigging and operating cranes Knowledge of the quality standards of each surface * Performs some patch and repair operations Proficient within applicable computer & scanning operations Meets productivity expectations Responsible for part number identification and recognition Knowledge of scrap out procedures Proficient in all standard operating procedures for department/cell Proficient understanding of department specific tools and measuring equipment Acquires and reads blueprints Knowledge in product packaging and labeling procedures Completes Industrial Lift Truck certifications Follows Bill of Materials and print shop papers Supports Continuous Improvement initiatives Supports the implementation of new product lines Here\'s why we want you: High school diploma or General Education Diploma graduate (courses in Industrial Arts preferred), and one (1) to three (3) plus years of finishing and/or manufacturing experience required; or equivalent or equivalent combination of education and training. Experience working specifically in the composite industry is required. Ability to acquire necessary skills and knowledge of composite molding/finishing and assembly techniques and procedures.
