Pacific Retirement Services Regional Recruiter in Medford, Oregon
The Regional Recruiter is responsible for working collaboratively with various HR partners and hiring managers to fill open positions within a designated region: This region will consist of positions at Rogue Valley Manor in Medford, OR and University Retirement Community in Davis, CA. The ideal candidate will be located near either Medford or Davis to be onsite quickly and easily when needed.
Position types include but are not limited to the following: Healthcare (CNA, RN, LPN, NHA), Dining (Servers, Dishwashers, Cooks), Facility & Environmental Services (Engineers, House Keepers, Maintenance Technicians, Custodians), Sales & Marketing, Accounting (Book Keepers, Business Office Manager), Transportation (CDL Drivers, Valet), Resident Services (Activities Coordinator, Receptionist), etc.. Some of the job duties include:
Maintain Open Positions Report, develop and deploy advertising strategy
Plan, attend, and schedule Career Fairs/Recruiting Events and Conduct Phone Screens
Build/maintain relationships with hiring managers and work to find creative solutions to solve their staffing challenges.
Actively build and maintain a professional network and relationships within the healthcare industry, and other industries as needed.
Attend and actively participate in various corporate and/or community meetings, including, but not limited to, department head meetings, stand-up meetings, leadership meetings, and recruiting department meetings.
Facilitate regular meetings or conference calls with hiring managers and related stakeholders.
This position reports directly to the Corporate Director of Talent Acquisition and will be remote based. There will be frequent travel to community specific trainings, meetings, association conferences, etc..

This position requires significant advanced knowledge, usually the result of a minimum of four (4) years of college with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare, or a related field, and/or three (3) or more years’ experience in human resources, corporate recruitment, or agency recruitment. Other qualifications are:
Minimum of Two (2) years’ experience in both active & passive recruitment.
Preferred experience with recruitment in healthcare industry positions, dining, hospitality, etc..
Experience with advertising jobs, cold calling, candidate screening, interviewing, negotiating job offers, and outreach recruiting.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a strong sense of professionalism and influence.
Working knowledge of employment law required.
An excellent driving record is required.
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, AIRS certifications preferred.
The ideal candidate will be located near either Medford or Davis to be onsite quickly and easily when needed.
