The Team Lead is responsible for all activities related to the support of Trinity Information Services (TIS) applications in his/her area. He/She manages and assigns work to the application support team in coordination with the overall application support team. This team will consist of business and technical analysts and may be one of several teams supporting a large application product (e.g. SMS Revenue, SMS Financials, TDS Clinical, etc.). The Team Lead is responsible for all management aspects of his/her team, i.e. annual evaluations, hiring, counseling, mentoring and other management activities. Confers with and advises staff on standards, policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities and methods. Manages priorities set by the Application Support Manager or Senior Manager. Understands and supports the strategic direction of TIS/Trinity Health and manages his/her support area in accordance with that strategy. Works closely with other Team Leads and/or Manager of the application area to make sure priorities and work assignments are managed consistently.

Position Requirements:

Minimum Education:

Required:Associates Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education

Preferred:Bachelors Degree

Required:6-10 years of previous job-related experience

Preferred:10+ years of previous job-related experience

Details:Seven years of experience in application area, three of which are in the healthcare field.

Two years with TIS is a definite plus.

Position Responsibilities:

Knows, understands, incorporates and demonstrates the Trinity Health

Leads and facilitates team meetings to discuss existing assignments

and issues; review and assign new tasks. Also, the Team Lead will

maintain a current project list outlining all tasks/assignments, the

assignee, and estimated completion dates for tasks and issues.

Develops staff, and defines team roles. This includes reviewing each

staff members annual goals, provide the opportunity for staff to achieve

set goals, and communicating to team members regarding those

available opportunities.
