Job Purpose:

Line/Prep Cook needed for small country Bar/Restaurant. (Job goes beyond just cooking.)

Our place is small but can be very busy... We are looking for a person able to follow directions, can work under pressure when needed and have pride and work ethic, be able to work independently and as a team member. Who wants to become part of our work family!

(We have a friendly family type work atmosphere and everyone tries to help each other out.) We would like someone who wants to be more then just a body to fill a position, someone to fit in and enjoys coming to work!

Pay will be determined upon experience.

Duties: Prepares food orders by assembling, and filling food orders. * Stocks food-portion control, preparing, and stocking items through-out shift. * Maintains food-preparation line by keeping a clean work area; removing spills and food droppings, sweeping and mopping of floors and well as keeping all refrigeration and cooking equipment clean. * Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following, standards and procedures; complying with food-handling and sanitation regulations. * Maintains customer satisfaction and confidence by meeting food quality and service standards from following all instruction for food preparations. * Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities which can later lead to promotion. Also have the ability to work yourself up for that certain go getter! Skills/Qualifications: Handles Pressure, Professionalism, Verbal Communication, Lifting, Teamwork, Food Sanitation, Basic Safety.
