Summary

The Scheduler position requires detailed oriented, multi-tasking, high level communicator who can exceed expectations of our customers and partners, ask thorough questions and follow through ensuring ACI meets its commitments. During the construction season ACI operates 7 days a week/24 hour a day, so position may require on call availability after hours and weekends that can be completed remotely with the use of an iPad and iPhone.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and assist in management of project schedules with Customers, Sales, Operations, Crews, Management, and Subcontractors, ensuring customer focused proactive engagement is maintained by all and customer issues are resolved quickly

  • Act as gatekeeper for all project documentation from proposal to contract to change orders to invoicing is complete, accurate, consistent and follows ACI processes

  • Scheduling and QC for Traffic Control activities (including project communication with customers, crews, signage preparation & administration and working with internal and external traffic control resources)

  • Maintain and enforce safe work environment, enforcing procedures, standards and rules and regulations

  • Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required

  • Other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education/Experience

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or a general education degree (GED) required

  • 1-2 years of related experience

  • Previous construction trades work experience preferred

Knowledge Skills/Requirement

  • Must have ability to interact with external and internal customers and partners in a fast pace, multitasking environment

  • Proficiency in use of technology including CRM, word, excel, iPhone, iPad and internet

  • Must be able to work in a hands-on environment of high communication

  • Must be able to work independently and high degree of problem solving
