CNC Machinist Responsibilities: - Operate CNC equipment on a production basis and machine quality parts meeting or exceeding the rate established by process engineering - Program CNC equipment to meet customer specifications - Load, unload and change tooling as necessary to perform changeovers and maintain proper tool cutting characteristics - Align and secure parts to fixtures and ensure proper positioning - Utilize gages such as but not limited to calipers, bore gages, OD micrometers, surface testers and thread gages to perform measurements inspections, and audits to ensure they meet customer specified requirements - Make adjustments to tooling and program offsets to maintain desired part dimensions - Deburr machined parts as specified by the customer and part specific instructions - Inspect parts for chips, burrs and defects - Utilize lifting equipment to move parts and equipment - Clean and package completed parts - Record production quantities of acceptable and unacceptable parts - Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas - Follows and adapts to procedures as described in the Quality System Procedures ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - Technical capacity - Strong attention to detail - Mechanical aptitude ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: manitowocresumes@qpsemployment.com Apply Online: https://www.qpsemployment.com/job-seekers/search-results/details/job/729648 This position is listed by a private employment agency.
